Zhuojian Guangming Party Branch Holds a Series of July 1 Party Day Activities
On 1 July 2026, the Zhuojian Guangming Party Branch organised walking, collective viewing and online study activities to mark the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
To celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, study and carry forward the great spirit of Party-building, and guide lawyers in fostering commitment to the country and to the rule of law, the Zhuojian Guangming Party Branch, led by Party Branch Secretary Wen Linjun, organised Party members and lawyers on 1 July 2026 to take part in a themed walk titled 'Passing on the Torch on July 1: Walking in Memory of the Long March', to watch the anniversary meeting, and to participate online in Zhuojian Party Committee's July 1 Party Day programme.
At the 'Joyful Guangming: Baihua Walk' Party Day event, Party members lined up wearing Party badges as the national anthem opened the programme. Facing the Party flag, they renewed the Party admission oath, reaffirming their original commitment, ideals and sense of responsibility. They then attended a themed lecture on revolutionary history and learned about the deeds of revolutionary martyrs from Baihua Community. Along the walking route, they reflected on the hardships of the Long March and strengthened their resolve to serve through legal practice.
At 10:00 a.m., firm members gathered in the Wutongshan Conference Room to watch the live presentation of July 1 Medals and the national commendation conference for outstanding Communist Party members, outstanding Party affairs workers and advanced primary-level Party organisations. Participants listened carefully to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and witnessed the recognition of exemplary figures and organisations.
At 2:30 p.m., they reconvened in the Wutongshan Conference Room to join Zhuojian Party Committee's online July 1 Party Day programme, themed 'Strengthen Party Spirit, Put the Purpose into Practice, Promote Development'. It included study of the first agenda item, a July 1 themed Party lecture and commendations for outstanding Party members and advanced primary-level Party organisations.
After the programme, participants discussed what they had learned in the context of legal practice. They said they would use the July 1 Medal recipients and other national and firm-level exemplars as benchmarks, study the important speech carefully, turn exemplary strength into motivation for practising law and serving the public, uphold their belief in the rule of law, observe professional discipline and ethics, and fulfil the principle that lawyers serve the people.
The July 1 series was both a profound Party-spirit education and a process of intellectual and moral renewal. The Zhuojian Guangming Party Branch will continue to use Party-building to support the firm's high-quality development, strengthen the Party-member team, translate red-education outcomes into effective legal services, and participate actively in community rule-of-law development, dispute resolution and public-interest legal education.
