Zhuojian Guangming Party Branch Holds Red-film Study Session on Party History
On 3 July, the Zhuojian Guangming Party Branch joined the Guangming District Lawyers' Working Committee and other law-firm Party branches for a Party-history film study session featuring Si Du.
To celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, deepen the effectiveness of Party-building work at the firm, strengthen the political convictions of Party-member lawyers, carry forward the revolutionary spirit and reinforce the original commitment to legal services, the Party Branch of Guangdong Zhuojian (Guangming) Law Firm joined the Guangming District Lawyers' Working Committee and several local law-firm Party branches on 3 July for a Party-history education film event titled 'Celebrating the 105th Anniversary of the Party: Revisiting the Years of Struggle'. Party Branch Secretary Wen Linjun, Deputy Secretary Pan Yan and other Party members attended and reflected on the spirit of the Long March through the film study.
The programme used a red-film screening as an immersive form of Party-history study. All participants watched the historical film Si Du, which recounts how the Central Red Army, after the Battle of the Xiang River and while surrounded by enemy forces, used flexible strategy and tactics to overcome adversity, cross the Chishui River four times, break through the encirclement and reverse the situation. The film presents the course of the Long March and the spirit of facing difficulties, unity, commitment and responsibility associated with it.
Participants followed the film closely and were moved by the battlefield scenes, revolutionary stories and firm ideals portrayed. They said that the Four Crossings of the Chishui River represented a classic example in the history of the Chinese revolution and a spiritual monument to perseverance and overcoming difficulties. The study reinforced their understanding that today's peace, stability and development under the rule of law were hard won, and sharpened their awareness of the professional and social responsibilities of lawyers in the new era.
The Party Branch of Guangdong Zhuojian (Guangming) Law Firm will continue to use Party-building to guide development, innovate forms of Party-building study and deepen the integration of Party-building with legal services. It will uphold political loyalty, carry out lawyers' rule-of-law responsibilities, serve communities through its professional work and contribute Zhuojian's strength to rule-of-law development in Guangming District.
