Profile
Li Xiaodong has dual academic backgrounds in engineering and law. Having worked for many years at a major central state-owned enterprise, he has systematic professional knowledge of core business areas including supply-chain management, logistics operations and corporate compliance.
In supply-chain management, he is familiar with the full process from procurement and production to warehousing and distribution, and can identify legal risks involving contractual performance, supplier qualifications, product quality, delayed delivery and cross-border trade compliance. In logistics operations, he has studied practical issues including transport-mode selection, allocation of carrier liability, cargo-insurance claims and the law applicable to multimodal transport, enabling him to provide solutions that are both commercially viable and legally sound.
Corporate compliance is a particular strength. Drawing on experience in building compliance-management systems at a central state-owned enterprise, he understands corporate requirements in anti-corruption, anti-monopoly, data security, environmental protection and employment. He helps businesses establish robust compliance systems and provides timely crisis response when they face administrative investigations or criminal risks.
After entering legal practice, he has applied his interdisciplinary strengths to civil and commercial, criminal and administrative disputes as well as corporate bankruptcy matters. His civil and commercial work includes contract disputes, equity disputes, debt resolution and intellectual-property protection, approached through the underlying commercial issues. In criminal defence, he focuses on economic and duty-related offences and identifying weaknesses in the evidence. In administrative litigation, he understands public-authority decision-making and protects the lawful rights of affected parties. He also has practical experience in liquidation, restructuring and settlement procedures in bankruptcy matters.
Li Xiaodong maintains a professional, rigorous and pragmatic approach. He quickly identifies the central issues in a dispute, develops appropriate response strategies and applies a solid professional foundation to protect clients' lawful rights and interests.
