Responsibilities
1. Assist lead lawyers in receiving clients, collecting and recording key case information, participating in case discussions and researching relevant cases.2. After the handling lawyer determines the case direction and strategy, draft complaints or defences, collect and organise evidence, and prepare evidence lists.3. Attend hearings; verify evidence during hearings; collect and organise supplementary evidence afterwards; challenge opposing evidence; and prepare closing summaries and archives.
Requirements
1. Has passed the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination, is eligible for trainee-lawyer status, and is committed to a long-term legal career.2. Holds a bachelor's degree or above in law from one of the Five Institutes and Four Departments or a Project 985 university.3. Has strong learning, legal research, independent-working, diligence, attention-to-detail, resilience and team-writing abilities.4. Has strong communication and legal-writing skills; applicants able to provide writing samples, legal instruments, public-account articles or research reports are preferred.5. Court or well-known law-firm internship experience is preferred.
